Most awaited Adivi Sesh biographical starrer 'Major,' which has been postponed multiple times, will finally be released on May 27.
Adivi Sesh will play the 26/11 braveheart, NSG Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, in 'Major,' which is now in the final stages of production. 'Major' depicts Sandeep Unnikrishnan's life from childhood through adolescence and service in the Army, ending in his terrible death in the Mumbai terror attacks of 26/11.

Sashi Kiran Tikka directed the film, which was shot in Telugu and Hindi at the same time. It will be released in Malayalam as well. The trailer for the film sparked a lot of interest, and the first track, 'Hrudayama,' has been well received by music fans. The music for this film was composed by Sricharan Pakala.
Other noteworthy cast members include Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi, and Murli Sharma. Sony Pictures Films India is producing 'Major' in collaboration with Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar Ghattamaneni's GMB Entertainment and A S Movies.
