University of Calcutta (CU), Kolkata has issued applications for the eligible candidates for the admissions to Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme offered at the Department of Education for session 2017-18 latest till March 6.

Who will be eligible for the same?

• Candidates who are interested in applying must hold a Degree in Zoology (Masters) from a recognised university.
• For registration, the candidate would have to deposit a fee of Rs 100 through a challan available at Sales Counter at CU.
• The candidates will be selected on the basis of their personal interviews and written tests.*

*There is a concession for the students who have qualified M. Phil./NET/GATE in Life Sciences branch. They do not need to appear for the written test and only for the interview.

Important Dates:

• Last date to submit application form: March 6
• Admission Test date: March 10
• Interview date: March 16
