Adnan wrote in his first tweet, 'Dear Pakistanis who have forcibly entrenched themselves in the discussion on CAA issue... First thing is that if you are in favor of Muslims, first you have to accept that Muslims want to leave you, which makes your existence questionable! Secondly, if you are equally worried about Muslims, then either open the border gate or keep your mouth shut.' In another tweet, Singer said that the Muslim community in India is happy. He wrote, 'You may not like to hear but Muslims in India are living with great joy and honor.'

On the issue of Citizenship Amendment Act, Pakistan's PM Imran Khan, as well as many Pakistanis, made negative comments on social media. Imran Khan even spoke at the first Global Refugee Forum held in Geneva on this subject and described the situation as worrying for the Muslims of India. Apart from this, this is not the first time Adnan responded to Pakistanis who have made negative comments on India through social media. He has been seen many times before, advising Pakistan not to interfere in India's case, suggesting that it should focus on its issues and matters.
