Narendra Giri case: Anand Giri demands special protection, lawyer says his life is in danger

New Delhi: Accused Anand Giri (Anand Giri) and Aadya Tiwari arrested in connection with the death of All India Akhara Parishad chief Mahant Narendra Giri, have said their lives are in danger. The lawyer claimed that Anand Giri's life is in danger. He has been asked to give special protection to Anand Giri and Adya Tiwari by applying to the CJM court.

The counsel for Anand Giri and Adya Tiwari has filed an application in the CJM court in Prayagraj. In it, he claims that his clients were assaulted and abused by some people when they were produced before the court. There are fears that they may be fatally attacked inside the jail or when brought to court from jail. His lawyer has demanded that the court order the SSP of Prayagraj and the Superintendent of Central Jail to give special protection to Anand Giri and Adya Tiwari while bringing them inside the jail and from jail to court.

Mahant Narendra Giri died on September 20. According to police, he had hanged himself to death. A suicide note was also found from the spot in which he said he was upset. Three people have been arrested so far based on the suicide note. These include Anand Giri, Adya Tiwari and his son Sandeep Tiwari.
