The Congress had recently handed over the command of Punjab to Charanjeet Singh Channi following the resignation of Captain Amarinder Singh. Channi is MLA from Chamkaur Sahib assembly seat in Punjab. Let us tell you that he is the first Dalit Sikh CM of the state. The video of Charanjeet Singh Channi, who has been made the new CM of Punjab, is going viral on Twitter. Twitter users are giving fun reactions to this video. One user wrote, "Let him enjoy for few months". 

Charanjeet Singh Channi, 58, was sworn in as CM of Punjab last Monday and as soon as he assumed office, he made several promises including free supply of water for small houses, reduction in electricity bills and giving transparent government to the "Aam Aadmi". Channi is the first person from the Dalit community to become CM in Punjab with a Dalit population of more than 30 percent.
