New Delhi: The Bombay High Court has pulled up former Regional Director of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Sameer Wankhede for making public the chats with Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan. The court has directed them not to do any such act again in future. In fact, the CBI had expressed strong objection in the High Court and said that Sameer Wankhede has taken such a step to prove himself innocent. 

As per reports, the Bombay High Court on Monday extended the interim relief granted to former NCB regional director Sameer Wankhede, accused of demanding a bribe of Rs 25 crore from Shah Rukh Khan, till June 8. Wankhede is alleged to have sought bribe from Shah Rukh to release the actor's son Aryan Khan in the Cruz Cordelia case. Earlier, the court had asked the CBI not to arrest Wankhede till May 22. A vacation bench of Justice Abhay Ahuja and Justice MM Sathaye granted the relief while hearing Wankhede's plea seeking quashing of the CBI's FIR. The bench also directed Wankhede to give an undertaking that he would not speak to the media in connection with the matter. Will appear before the CBI every time when called and will not tamper with the evidence.

IRS officers were posted in NCB in Wankhede 2021. The CBI had recently registered an FIR against Wankhede for demanding a bribe of Rs 25 crore for not implicating Aryan Khan. Aryan was arrested in October 2021 after a raid on Cordelia Cruise. Wankhede claimed on Monday that he and his wife have been receiving death threats for the past few days. Wankhede says that he and his wife Kranti Redkar have been receiving death threats on social media for the last 4 days. They are also getting objectionable messages. Wankhede said he would write to the Mumbai Police Commissioner, requesting him to be given special security.

Chat of Shahrukh Khan and Sameer Wankhede :-

On October 2, 2021, 19 people were arrested in a raid on Cordelia Cruise. Shahrukh's son Aryan was also caught on 3 October. Aryan Khan had to spend 26 days in jail. In the chat made public by Sameer Wankhede, messages from October 3 and onwards can be seen. According to the copy of the chat submitted by Sameer Wankhede to the High Court, Shah Rukh says to him, 'Sameer Sahab, can I talk to you for a minute. I know this is not officially correct and may be wrong, but as a father I want to speak to you. I didn't go to the media. I have not given any statement. I have only believed in your generosity. I request you to have mercy on me and my family.

In response to this message from Shahrukh, Sameer says- 'Please call'. After this, whether there was a conversation on the phone between the two or not, and then what happened, more information about it has not been revealed. Whereas, further in the chat, Wankhede says, 'Shahrukh, he is a good boy. I hope it will definitely improve. I have done a lot of counseling. Difficult days will end soon.' After this, many messages of Shahrukh come to Sameer Wankhede. 

In a message dated October 7, Shah Rukh writes, 'If you can help me in any way, without losing the dignity of a legal officer, please do. I will be forever grateful to you. I don't know about the technical things, but if the department in charge feels that everything is correct and you are satisfied. So the officer should give a 'short answer'. I promise the kind of support you need will help. Please accept this request. It will be a great favor because the family members want him (Aryan) to stay at home. And there should not be any kind of stain on it.'

Responding to this, Wankhede writes to the Bollywood actor, 'Dear Shah Rukh, I have condolences for you as a father. Everything will be fine soon. In another message, Shahrukh writes, 'Please show some kindness. I can only request as a father.' On this Wankhede says, 'Dear Shahrukh, I wish I could talk to you like a friend instead of the zonal director and explain the current situation. Some people are spoiling the whole atmosphere. I want to work for the betterment of children. So that they can get a better life and opportunity to serve the nation. But, unfortunately some people are trying to tarnish my efforts for their own benefit.'

Shahrukh writes on this, 'But my son is not a part of it. You know too. You know he has at least a part in it. He needs improvement. Work a little comfortably for God's sake.' Shahrukh writes in another message that, 'This is a father's request to the father that I love my children like you. We will not allow outsiders to hurt this feeling between the two fathers. Sameer, I am a righteous man. Please don't let my faith in you and the system break. This will break my family.'
