Bhojpur: An unknown disease is spreading among the Dalit group in Bhojpur district, in which 11 children have come under its grip. The incident took place in Nagri village of Charpokhari block. Here 2 children have lost their lives due to this unknown disease. Nine children are still sick. The age of all the sick children is said to be between 1 and 2 years. However, doctors are calling it measles. But the team of doctors is still investigating the symptoms seen in many children.

As soon as the news of this disease spread in Dalit Tola in the city of Charpokhari, an entire team of doctors is engaged in the treatment of sick children by setting up a medical camp in the tole. According to doctors, all children suffer from a disease called the measles outbreak. According to District Immunization Officer Dr. Sanjay Kumar Sinha, the families of the sick children did not contact the doctors due to a lack of awareness and started treatment with bushes, due to which two children died. At present, the health department team is engaged in the treatment of all the children by roaming around every house present in the Dalit group of the city. Here, on the instructions of Bhojpur Civil Surgeon, 8 beds have been reserved in Arrah Sadar Hospital for the treatment of sick children, where one child is also undergoing treatment.

On the other hand, Reshmi Devi, the mother of a sick child who came to the hospital for treatment, said that her son suddenly stopped eating and drinking. Suffering from this disease, he is not even opening his eyes now. The same medical team reached the spot and is engaged in detecting the disease by testing.
