Dehradun: After the congress' defeat in the assembly elections in Uttarakhand, now senior party leader and former assembly speaker Govind Singh Kunjwal has blamed factionalism for the party's defeat. He said that Ganesh Godiyal has been made the new state president to strengthen the organisation, but despite the change of state president, the team was of the leader of opposition Pritam Singh. How much cooperation it will have received can be clearly estimated.

Former Assembly Speaker Govind Kunjwal has also targeted the leader of opposition Pritam Singh as well as Congress state in-charge Devendra Yadav. He has said that after the new president is elected, every unit from the state to the state can be dissolved.

After becoming the new President, it is the state in charge's job to get its approval, but he could not do so. That is why, having an old team, the state president was left alone. He said that for the strengthening of the organisation, it was necessary that as soon as the new state president was formed, the state president would have set up his own team.
