Lucknow: Congress national general secretary and In-charge of Uttar Pradesh Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has been brainstorming with senior leaders of the state for the last three days over the party's crushing defeat in the recent state assembly elections. In this sequence, Priyanka Gandhi has also met the leaders separately on Thursday. According to sources, Priyanka is also doing a thorough brainstorming on the party's strategy for the Lok Sabha polls along with reviewing the election results in this conversation.
Priyanka Gandhi on Tuesday held in-depth discussions with senior state Congress leaders at a review meeting at the Congress war room at Gurudwara Rakabganj here. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is now holding separate discussions with veteran leaders and office bearers after a meeting to review the results of the state assembly elections. He said that the Congress General Secretary is having one-to-one meetings with several senior Congress leaders and office bearers of the state.
The leaders with whom Priyanka has met so far include Pramod Tiwari, Acharya Pramod Krishnan, Satish Ajmani, former MLA Ajay Rai, former Speaker Ajay Kumar Lallu, newly elected MLA Virendra Chaudhary and others.
