Arjun Munda, the Union Agriculture Minister, emphasized the importance of careful consideration and dialogue in implementing a law to ensure Minimum Support Price (MSP) for crops. He urged farmers engaged in protests to engage in structured discussions with the government regarding their concerns. Munda, speaking at a press briefing, also cautioned farmers to remain vigilant against elements seeking to exploit their protests for political gain.

As part of a ministerial delegation, Munda participated in two rounds of discussions with farmer groups, including the non-political Samyukta Kisan Morcha and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha in Chandigarh, aimed at addressing their grievances. Despite some progress, talks have yet to yield a conclusive agreement.

In response, farmer groups initiated a 'Delhi Chalo' march on Tuesday to further press their demands. "While many of their demands have been addressed during the discussions, certain issues remain unresolved. Dialogue between both parties is ongoing," Munda stated.
