In Ladakh, the Indian Air Force has built one of the world's tallest mobile air traffic control towers. An air traffic control tower has been set up at The Advanced Landing Ground in Nyoma, which controls the operation of fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters operating in the eastern Ladakh area. For more than a year, the Army has further strengthened its preparedness in very low temperatures in areas ranging from 14,000 feet to 17,000 feet.

"We have spent minus -45 degrees Celsius in the high altitude areas of eastern Ladakh," said an officer of the same army. We have developed a lot of our standard process of operating tanks in these temperatures and in difficult areas. In eastern Ladakh, the Indian Army has been firmly firm amid tensions with China near LAC. One year after the deployment of tank regiments in these areas, the Indian Army is now more accustomed to the use of tanks in the region.

Indian Army had deployed a large number of tanks including T-90 Bhishma and T-72 Ajay Tanks last year to respond to the Chinese army's aggression under Operation Snow Leopard. After facing each other for nearly 15 months at Gogra in eastern Ladakh, the armies of the two countries recently completed the process of withdrawing their troops. At the same time, the ground situation has been restored as the period before the standoff.
