Airports Authority of India (AAI) is inviting applications from qualified candidates of Indian Nationals to hire them to the Posts of Pilot / Co-Pilot on a contract basis. There are 2  for the Posts, one for each.

As per the Airports Authority of India notification, selected candidates will be appointed at the Airport Terminals/Land Management department at Chennai Airport, Chennai. 

Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria have to send their duly filled application to edfiu@aai.aero /fiuops@aai.aero on or before the last date.  As per the official notification of AAI , the last date to apply is on or before 17/02/2023.

Academic Qualifications for AAI Recruitment 2023:

The applicant must have earned a 10+2 diploma from an accredited board or university in Physics and Mathematics.
Technical prerequisites and authorization for AAI Recruitment 2023:

For Pilot: A current, valid ATPL issued by the DGCA of India with at least  1000 hours of Multi Engine flight time
FRTO in effect, issued by the Indian DGCA

Valid ELP: Candidates must have a valid Indian passport, however if one is not available, they must attach proof of application submission.

Current IR Endorsement: RTR (A), RTR (P), or RTR (C) currently in effect, issued by the Indian Ministry of Communication's WPC.

DGCA, India's current Class-I Medical Fitness Certificate

2000 total flight hours are a minimum requirement.

For the Co-Pilot: A current, valid CPL with a Multi Engine rating, awarded by the DGCA of India.
FRTO in effect, issued by the Indian DGCA

Valid IR Endorsement

RTR (A), RTR (P), or RTR (C) currently in effect, issued by the Indian Ministry of Communication's WPC.
DGCA, India's current Class-I Medical Fitness Certificate
Valid ELP
