New Delhi: A 2-week furlough has been issued to Ajay Chautala, father of Dushyant Chautala, head of Jananayak Janata Party. Ajay Chautala, imprisoned in Tihar Jail of Delhi, will come out of Tihar Jail on Saturday evening or Sunday morning. Dushyant Chautala met BJP President and Union Home Minister Amit Shah yesterday and announced to support the Manohar Lal Khattar government in Haryana.

Tihar Jail DG Sandeep Goyal has told the media that Ajay Chautala has been given two weeks' furlough from the jail. Ajay Chautala's furlough will start as soon as he leaves from jail. Ajay Chautala and his father former CM Omprakash Chautala are in jail in the teacher recruitment scam. Both are currently lodged in Tihar Jail. This decision has come at a time when JJP chief Dushyant Chautala on Friday announced his support for the BJP to form the government in Haryana.
At the same time, Dushyant Chautala has said that the election code of conduct has ended tomorrow and after that, his father Ajay Chautala has been given 14 days furlough. He said that if he will give strength to our shoulders within the foundation of this change, then there is nothing happier for him than that.
