Earlier today, we had reported that an anonymous person has issued a bomb threat yesterday on May 31, to actor Ajith's residence in Injambakkam. The police have now traced the caller to be a person named Dinesh, a mentally unstable person who lives in Marakkanam near Chennai. Last year in July 2020 also, it was reported a man named Bhuvanesh, who hailed from Marakkanam, Villupuram district had been arrested for a simliar hoax call. Meanwhile, there are reports that Dinesh, who made the fake bomb threat call was the same person, who made similar calls to Superstar Rajinikanth and Thalapathy Vijay earlier last year as well.

It is being said that the cops had then advised Dinesh's family members to not give the cellphone to him but he has somehow gotten hold of one and has indulged once again in his favorite pastime of making bomb threats to top stars of Kollywood. The miscreant seems to have been warned yet again and his family has been given a dressing down by cops. Over last few years, there have been similar fake bomb threat calls in the past to former Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa, Puducherry chief minister V Narayanaswamy and Puducherry Governor Kiran Bedi, apart from Kollywood celebrities.
