Lucknow: National President of Samajwadi Party (SP) and former Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav has announced compensation for the death of laborers in UP. Akhilesh Yadav said that if any laborer dies in Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi Party will provide a compensation of Rs 1 lakh to his family.

Akhilesh Yadav further said that a compensation of Rs 1 lakh will be given to every laborer who has died in Uttar Pradesh. This compensation will also be given to those workers who live in Uttar Pradesh, but are not residents here. Akhilesh attacked the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh and said that they should arrange for all laborers to reach their homes.

Akhilesh further said that the safety of migrant laborers should be the priority of the government. He has instructed the Samajwadi Party workers to provide them food and safety kits for the safety of the workers. He has many times accused the Yogi government of ignoring the laborers, as well as the government of the capitalists of the UP government.
