Lucknow: After the results of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections came out, a meeting of all the newly-elected Samajwadi Party (SP) MLAs is underway at the party office today (March 26). The leaders started coming and going since the morning to attend the meeting, but what is surprising is that Shivpal Yadav was not invited to the legislature party meeting. Shivpal was not invited to this meeting.
Speaking to the media, Shivpal Yadav said that he had been waiting for two days in Lucknow, but he was not invited to the legislature party meeting. Shivpal told the media "I am not only an MLA from the Samajwadi Party but also an active member of the party," Shivpal told the media, adding, "I will take a decision by talking to my supporters and the public." He did not give a clear answer to whether he will stay in the Samajwadi Party or go with the BJP.
When the election results came out, speculations were being made that Akhilesh might hand him a big responsibility, it was being said that Shivpal Yadav could be made the leader of the legislature party in the House. But Shivpal's refusal to be invited to the meeting to be held in Lucknow on Saturday is going to raise questions in itself.
