Lucknow: The Samajwadi Party (SP) has staked its claim on a Dalit face in the upcoming by-election to azamgarh parliamentary seat in Uttar Pradesh. Sp has fielded Sushil Anand from Azamgarh. Let us know that Sushil Anand is the son of Balihari Babu, who was one of the founding members of BAMCEF. SP national president Akhilesh Yadav was elected mp from Azamgarh in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. However, he contested the UP assembly elections from Karhal seat in Mainpuri district. in which he won. 

However, after this, Akhilesh Yadav had resigned from the Post of Parliament of Azamgarh Lok Sabha seat. Akhilesh Yadav is now the leader of the opposition in the UP assembly. Let me tell you that Balihari Babu had joined the SP. Before that, For a long time, Balihari babu had been with BAMCEF and then the BSP, but he died in the Corona period. The SP has run the Dalit card in view of this, as Mayawati has put all her emphasis on the Muslim face Guddu Jamali. 

In the last assembly elections, SP candidates had won all the 10 seats of Azamgarh district. Durga Prasad Yadav of SP from Azamgarh Sadar, Dr. H.N. Singh Patel of SP from Sagri seat, Nafees Ahmed of SP from Gopalpur seat, Sangram of SP from Atraulia seat, Alam of SP from Nizamabad seat, Akhilesh of SP from Mubarakpur seat also won. At the same time, the sp's puja from mehnagar seat, while in lalganj seat also sp's bachai had hoisted the winning parcham. Sp's Kamlakant won the Deedarganj seat and The Phulpur Powai seat was won by SP's Ramakant.
