Uttar Pradesh: Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the Samajwadi Party (SP), reportedly announced on Monday, November 1 that he will not run in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh (UP) Assembly elections.

According to the report, Yadav also stated that his party's electoral alliance with the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) was final and that seat-sharing was still being worked out.

Akhilesh, who represents Azamgarh in parliament, will be the face of his party's campaign.
