Uttar Pradesh: Akhilesh Yadav attacks BJP government over plantation
Share:

Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) national president and former CM of UP Akhilesh Yadav has said that according to the claim of the state government, 9 crore trees were planted in the year 2017 and 15 crores in the year 2018. Suddenly 22 crore trees were planted in the year 2019 and now in 2020, 25 crore tree plantation records are being made. This blatant claim of the alleged plantation of the UP government is asking that the BJP leaders, lying to the people, have now started lying to the trees too?

Akhilesh said that the state's population of 23 crores and tree planting 25 crores, how practical and how likely is it? In the four years of BJP, how many trees were planted, and how many survived in them. Where and how will we get information about this? The SP president said that the government must tell where such land area has been identified. On which the tree planting program was completed. Every day new lies are invented in the BJP's factory of lies but nothing is hidden from the public. BJP cannot cover the truth. The public knows all the truth.

Akhilesh further said that contrary to the BJP's claims of falsehood, during the time of the SP government, a large scale tree plantation was done in UP keeping the environment in view. The largest park in Asia, Janeshwar Mishra Park is spread over 400 acres of land in Lucknow. In which different types of trees have been planted. Even in Lucknow, Dr. Lohia Park built before this, people go in large numbers.
