Akhilesh Yadav slams Amit Shah's visit to West Bengal

New Delhi: Samajwadi Party (SP) National President and former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav has targeted the BJP government at the Center for the visit of the Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Kolkata for the upcoming West Bengal Assembly elections. He tweeted and asked that there is no corona for BJP rally in Bengal, so why is it in Delhi for Parliament session.

Akhilesh Yadav tweeted with his official tweeter handle that if there is no corona for BJP rally in West Bengal, then why it is in Parliament in Delhi to run the session. The BJP government is using Corona as an excuse to avoid the public representatives' anger in favour of farmers in Parliament. He said that BJP is slaughtering parliamentary-constitutional traditions.

Before the assembly elections due in West Bengal next year, the Union Home Minister and former party president Amit Shah arrived on his two-day visit to Kolkata after around 1 o'clock on Friday to check the preparations of the BJP. After reaching Kolkata, he wrote in a tweet, 'I bow to this holy land of Gurudev Tagore, Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.'
