A day after releasing the teaser, the trailer of one of the most awaited movies by Akshay Kumar, Cuttputtli is out. Cuttputlli will be released exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar on 2nd September and will be available to all platform subscribers. For fans in the U.S Cuttputlli will stream exclusively on Hulu. In a trailer launch event, Akshay kumar was asked by the reporters about the reason behind the poor performance of Bollywood movies.
Bollywood Khiladi has addressed the issue and said, "Films are not working, it is our fault, my fault. I have to make changes, understand what the audience wants and there is nobody else to be blamed for it but me." On Saturday, Akshay launched the trailer of the thriller that also features Rakul Preet Singh, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Sargun Mehta and Chandrachur Singh.
Speaking about the trailer of Akshay’s upcoming movie. It showcases the story of a small town of Kasauli where 3 murders have taken place and one serial killer is behind them. Akshay and his team of cops are looking for the killer on the loose. Rakul is also seen helping in the same. The film is all set for a direct release on OTT. It will premiere on Disney+Hotstar on September 2.
On the Professional front, Bollywood Khiladi Akshay has several films lined up. He is currently shooting for the remake of Soorarai Potter. He also has Ram Setu with Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt. The actor also has shot for OMG: Oh My God 2 with Yami Gautam and Pankaj Tripathi. He was last seen in Rakshabandhan which failed to win the Box office battle. The movie also called for boycotted.
