Alia Bhatt is leaving no stone unturned for promoting her upcoming film Brahmastra. On Saturday, the actor reached IIT Bombay for the film promotions and was glad to be in the institution even if it was for just one hour. 
Alia took to her social media and wrote, "IIT Bombay .. here we come!!! thanks to promotions at least I can proudly say I got into IIT(for one hour). 9th September — Brahmastra." As soon as Alia’s comment catches the eyes of people they started trolling her for her comment on reaching IIT Bombay. As several people say that she does not deserve to go there.
Speaking about Brahmastra: Part One Shiva is one of the highly-anticipated films of the year. After getting delayed multiple times, it is all set to hit the theatres on September 9. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy in the lead roles.
Brahmastra is called for Boycott because of Alia Bhatt’s statement, In an interview, said that "if you don't like me, don't watch me", which has triggered anger amongst netizens. Soon after, netizens trended #boycottaliabhatt #boycottbrahmastra and #boycottbollywood. The actress further said, "I believed the only way I could shut the conversation down is through my movies. So, don’t respond, don’t feel bad. Of course, I felt bad. But feeling bad is a small price to pay for the work that you are respected and loved for. I delivered a film like Gangubai. So, who’s having the last laugh? At least until I deliver my next flop? For now, I am laughing!"
