Brahmastra recently released film is inching closer to the Rs 350 crore mark in the global collections and has crossed the lifetime earnings of Vivek Agnihotri-directed hard-hitting political drama The Kashmir Files, which earned Rs 340 crore worldwide, to become the highest-grossing hit of 2022. Some people are praising the movie while some people are making fun of Alia’s Dialog.  As the actress says Shiva very frequently. One social media influencer Chandni also mimics Alia. In the recent interview, Ayan opens up on why Alia keeps saying Shiva in the movie.

Alia was asked about Chandni’s mimicry the actress said, "That's one of my favorites. There is this one girl who imitates me, Chandni, she imitates me really well. She made an Alia Bramastra meme where she is talking about my voice and she is outstanding."

 Ayan Mukerji speaking about the reason why Alia keeps saying Shiva said, "People are making fun of it. I think when I talk, I keep taking people's names a lot, this is my habit. So that stayed in the script and came in the film as well."

Ranbir Kapoor also speaks about this said, "We want to tell the audience that Alia and I would always ask Ayan that 'yaar, her name is Isha, my name is Shiva, do we have to keep saying it?' But Ayan was very particular that when someone is in love, they have to enjoy saying the name of the person they love. And I think that makes sense."

Brahmastra, which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead role, was released in theatres on September 9.  Brahmastra follows the story of Shiva (Ranbir), a DJ, who sets out on a journey with his love interest Isha (Alia) to unearth the origins of his special powers and discovers his connection to a secret community called Brahmansh, led by Guruji (Amitabh Bachchan).
