Turkey: A significant piece of news has recently come to light from Turkey, where Member of Parliament Hasan Bitmez has passed away. On December 12, 2023, he suffered a heart attack during a parliamentary address. Subsequently, he was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The 53-year-old Bitmez had a heart attack after criticizing Israel in his speech.

Turkey's Health Minister Fahrettin Koca announced Bitmez's death in a post on Twitter on Thursday (December 14, 2023). He wrote, "Hasan Bitmez was being treated in the Intensive Care Unit of Ankara Bilken City Hospital. Despite all efforts, he could not be saved, and he passed away at 11:50 tonight. May Allah have mercy on our deputy. I express my condolences to his family and all his loved ones. May his soul rest in peace." Bitmez was a member of Turkey's Felicity Party. He gave his final speech regarding the ongoing campaign in Gaza against Israel. Due to this, he had invoked Allah's wrath upon the Jewish state.

He concluded his speech by saying, "Allah's wrath will befall Israel, and it cannot escape it. I greet you all." Immediately after this statement, he had a heart attack and collapsed on the ground. Other MPs present rushed to lift him. Another MP, Dr. Tugba Komec, provided CPR. However, Bitmez did not show any improvement, and he was taken to the hospital on a stretcher. Reports suggest that Hasan Bitmez was also a diabetic patient. The Hamas, an Islamic extremist organization, attacked Israel on October 7, 2023. Following this, Israel launched a military campaign against Hamas militants in Gaza. Several Muslim countries expressed dissatisfaction with Israel's actions.
