Ambti Raidu has announced retirement from international cricket for not getting a chance In the World Cup-2019 even after two Indian players were injured. It has also shocked the cricket world. Suddenly everyone is surprised by Raidu's retirement.

Raidu was selected as a reserve player for the Indian cricket team before the World Cup. Rishabh Pant was selected by the Indian team management after India's opener Shikhar Dhawan was out of the World Cup. In the past, Mayank Aggarwal has replaced all-rounder Vijay Shankar after being pulled out of the World Cup due to a fracture in his toe but Raidu didn't got chance in WC.

The 33-year-old Ambati Rayudu  has scored 1694 runs in 55 ODIs with an average of 47.05 and includes 3 centuries and 10 half-centuries. Team India has also been represented by Ambati Rayudu in 6 T20 Internationals. Ambati Rayudu had already retired from first-class cricket to strengthen his fourth position for the World Cup and has not played any Tests so far.
