Baghdad: At least 25 people were killed after the US attacked an Iran-backed militia group in Iraq and Syria. Iraq's 'Popular Mobilization Forces' (PMF) gave this information in this regard on Monday. Giving information, the news agency Effe has said that a group of PMF, Kataeb Hizbullah (KH) militia group was attacked by the US on Sunday.

The attack came in response to an attack on an Iraqi military camp near Kirkuk province earlier this week, in which an American contractor died. Jawad al-Rubai, head of the PMF directorate, has reported that "the number of people killed in a brutal attack on the headquarters of the 45th and 46th Brigade has risen to 25, while 51 others have been injured."
