Washington: The tensions that have started between the US and China over the global pandemic Coronavirus are still intact. Meanwhile, the US has banned five products from China. The US has banned the import of goods of many Chinese companies. The US is suspected of forcing wages from those detained as part of a wider crackdown on ethnic minorities in northwest China.
According to the statement issued, the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued five withhold release orders (WROs) regarding products from the People's Republic of China. The US Department of Home Security says that China forcibly employs workers in Xinjiang Uygar Autonomous Region. Therefore, the goods produced in that area are banned. The US Department of Home Security said that the Chinese government in Xinjiang Uygar Autonomous Region is continuously violating the human rights of the Uygar people and other ethnic and religious minorities.
The names of companies that ship clothes, cotton products, computer parts and child-related products in the Xinjiang region are included in the order of US Customs and Border Protection whose products have been banned.
