US Air Force's F-16 fighter jet crashed in New Mexico

Washington: Airforce's F-16 fighter jet fell victim to an accident in New Mexico on Tuesday. However, the pilot of the aircraft survived safely in this accident. The pilot ejected himself from the aircraft at the right time. The accident occurred near Holman Air Force Base near New Mexico.

According to the information given by the US media, since May there have been five such accidents, whereas in the last two weeks only two F-16s have crashed. Earlier, in the plane which crashed on July 1, the pilot lost his life. According to a statement issued by Holman Base, the US Air Force's F-16C Viper fighter jet, assigned to the 49th Wing. 

According to the base, the pilot had ejected himself at the right time, so he had only mild injuries. There have been many such incidents in the last few years, in which an inquiry committee has been formed for this which will investigate the whole incident and the F-16. F-16 is an important fighter jet of the American Airforce. These aircraft are present in large numbers in the US Air Force, as well as America also sells this aircraft in large numbers to other countries.
