US Customs and Border Safety official said in a media release on Tuesday that a large number of cash and goods are being smuggled from the US. Two pilots named Luis Alberto Patino and Gregory Mendez of Venezuela were arrested on Saturday for illegally possessing weapons in the country.

According to the release, the aircraft and the luggage loaded in it have been seized. It was not clear from where they were actually purchased, but after this detention, the tension between the US and Venezuela has been increasing for the past several months.
