Washington: US President Donald Trump has once again warned the Chinese app Tik-Tok that by September 15, the company will either sell its ownership or close its business. President Trump says that "We will not extend the deadline for the Chinese app Tik-Tok". Last month Trump had set a deadline of September 15 for TikTok in an interim order.

According to this order, Tik-Tok could either sell its business to the American company or closed it. In the initial stage, Microsoft was asked to engage in negotiations with ByteDance, the owner of Beijing-based Internet technology company Tik-Tok. The US President told the press on Thursday that, "I am not extending the deadline anymore. It is due on 15 September. There will be no change in the deadline for Tik-Tok".

Trump said, "We'll see what happens next. Either it will be closed or they will sell its business. Therefore, we will either ban Tik-Tok in the country due to these security reasons, or it will be sold". India is the first country to ban more than 100 other Chinese apps including Tik-Tok in view of security measures. Top US officials have praised India for the action and initiated the process to do so.
