Jammu: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has started his Bharat Jodo Yatra from Kathua in Jammu and Kashmir amidst the rain. Due to this, he was seen wearing jackets. In fact, from starting the journey from Kanyakumari to Punjab-Himachal, he was not wearing a jacket or sweater. He was also in the news about this. He said that he is not afraid of the cold, he does not feel cold, so he does not wear sweaters.
According to the news received, his journey will go from Lakhanpur in Jammu to the Kashmir Valley via Kathua, Hiranagar, and Banihal Tunnel. He will conclude the yatra with a massive rally in Srinagar on January 30. The biggest concern about Rahul's security to the security agencies is his foot journey in the Valley. The yatra will pass through some of the routes in the Valley where foolproof security arrangements are being made. Here they will be guarded by Kashmir Police and CRPF.
Agencies have advised to include only known people in Rahul Gandhi's inner circle. Along with this, it has been advised to travel by car instead of walking in some places in Kashmir. On Tuesday, Jammu and Kashmir DGP Dilbag Singh said that adequate security will be given to Rahul Gandhi. On the permission for walking, he had replied that it will be decided in such a way that people do not have to face any kind of inconvenience. The Yatra will be provided security wherever required. The Bharat Jodo Yatra, which started from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu on September 7, will end with Rahul Gandhi hoisting the national flag in Srinagar. The yatra has so far covered Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, and Himachal Pradesh.
