New Delhi: In the Modi government 2.0, Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday flagged off the second high-speed train Vande Bharat Express between the national capital Delhi to Katra. On this occasion, other central ministers including Amit Shah gave a message to stop the use of single-use plastic. At a function organized at the railway station on the occasion of the inauguration of the country's second Vande Bharat Express train, the staged guest Amit Shah enjoyed the tea of Kulhad.
During this time, steel bottles were placed on the platform instead of plastic for water. Apart from Home Minister Amit Shah, Prime Minister Office Minister Jitendra Singh, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal, Health Minister Harsh Vardhan and Minister of State for Railways Suresh C Angadi enjoyed hot tea in Kulhar. On this, Amit Shah wrote on his tweet that 'Indian Railways has started using mud axes at 400 stations in the direction of Modi Ji to stop the use of single-use plastic'.
Home Minister Amit Shah further wrote in his tweet that 'this will not only benefit the environment but will also promote Indian handicrafts and employment. Today I too enjoyed Kulhar tea. Let us tell you that to save the environment, the use of single-use plastic has been completely banned from October 2 (Gandhi Jayanti).
