New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Chief JP Nadda are set to make appearances at the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's (RSS) annual nationwide coordination gathering today in Pune.
According to reports, this three-day coordination meeting, commencing on Thursday, will host approximately 267 delegates from 36 RSS-affiliated organizations.
A statement released by the RSS outlined the anticipated attendees, which include RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Sarkaryavah Dattatrey Hosabale, and representatives from various organizations such as the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Rashtriya Seva Bharti, Vanwasi Kalyan Ashram, Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Bhartiya Kisan Sangh, Sanskrit Bharti, and Bhartiya Majdoor Sangh.
The agenda for the meeting encompasses discussions on several important topics, including the current social and national landscape, national security, education, service to the nation, and the economy. Environmental sustainability and the promotion of social harmony are also expected to be key talking points.
The event was inaugurated on Thursday by Bhagwat and Hosabale, who offered floral tributes to an image of Bharat Mata.
The Purpose of the RSS All-India Annual Coordination Meeting
The conclave's objective is to compile the challenges facing society, chart a course of action, and foster a sense of national purpose to expedite progress, as stated in the press release. Representatives from diverse sectors of society will be participating in this gathering.
According to the RSS release, representatives from Vidya Bharti, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Saksham, Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, Seva Bharti, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Rashtra Sevika Samiti, Bharatiya Janata Party, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, and other affiliated organizations will also be part of this assembly. The press release further notes, "These organizations have been actively engaged in various facets of social life for many years and have earned a special place through their dedicated efforts. They will be sharing their experiences during the meeting."
