High-level meeting on farmer movement and budget session

New Delhi: Opposition to the agricultural laws of the central government was limited on the road for the last two months, but now that the budget session of Parliament has started from Friday, the opposition MPs have started a sit-in here as well. The government will have to overcome the opposition parties including Congress during the entire budget session. There has been a series of meetings in the government regarding how to face opposition from the opposition in Parliament.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah met in Parliament House. In addition to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharan, BJP President JP Nadda and BL Santosh (General Secretary of BJP Organization) were also present. A strategy was formed in the meeting about the farmers' movement and the Parliament session. The government had to face opposition on the very first day of the session. MPs from opposition parties shouted slogans inside and outside the Central Hall. The MPs shouted slogans when the President was giving his speech.

Members of the Aam Aadmi Party shouted slogans outside the Central Hall regarding agricultural laws and the MSP Guarantee Act. The MPs said that all three laws should be repealed and a law should be made on the MSP. AAP MP Sanjay Singh said that the government is working under pressure from the capitalists. The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) MP demonstrated against the agricultural laws at Gate No. 4 of Parliament.
