Shimla: Political agitation has intensified regarding the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections. Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah visited the Chamba district of the state on Tuesday. During this, while addressing the workers, Amit Shah fiercely attacked Congress. He said, 'Congress leaders have only one thing. He says that the custom in Himachal is once Congress, once BJP. But now a new custom has to be made, once BJP, again and again, BJP.

The Union Home Minister said that 'Our cultural heritage, our values and the centre of our faith, all this was humiliated by the Congress party. But PM Narendra Modi has respected the Indian public by respecting all these places without worrying about the vote bank. The result of this is that you gave all the seats of Himachal to Modi Ji and made him the Prime Minister for the second time in a row.'

Amit Shah further said, 'We had promised that if we come, we will take Himachal on the path of development. Today, roads, hospitals, water systems, and all basic facilities are reaching the general public in Himachal. The work of laying the road network in Bhatiyat and the entire Chamba has been done by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Only in Bhatiyat Vidhan Sabha, roads have been prepared under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana at a cost of Rs 28 crore.'
