New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has canceled his programs in Assam following the Naxal attack in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh. Sources said Home Minister Amit Shah is going to return from Assam and hold a major meeting in Delhi over the attack. The meeting is said to be a strategy to take major action against the Naxalites.

Home Minister Amit Shah was in Assam on Sunday. He had to hold rallies there. But after the Bijapur incident, he is returning from Assam early. The first Shah had to return to Delhi at 8 am, but he is coming early due to the Naxal attack in Bijapur. According to sources, Home Minister Amit Shah is going to hold a major review meeting on the attack in Bijapur. The meeting will be attended by Home Secretary CRPF officials, intelligence officials, and Joint Secretary LWE.

In fact, input security forces were found hiding Naxal commander Hidma in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh. After that, security forces launched operations in the Jonaguda area on Bijapur and Sukma border on Friday evening. But only then did the Naxalites start firing at the security forces. The Naxalites attacked the security forces in three ways. The first bullet, the second with pointed weapons, and the third from the homegrown rocket launcher. 200 to 300 Naxals were involved in the attack. In this attack, 22 soldiers of security forces have martyred, while many have been injured. About 15 Naxals were also reported killed.
