Amitabh Bachchan has been named the League Ambassador for the Legends Cricket League, a professional cricket league for retired international cricketers. "I'm really looking forward to the Legends League Cricket, which will honour cricket legends from all over the world by resurrecting historic rivalries for us to relive the memories. It is a fantastic opportunity for all cricket lovers to see them play live once more "In an official statement, Amitabh Bachchan added.

The League will be held in Oman's Al Amerat Cricket Stadium in January 2022, and will include three powerful teams representing India, Asia, and the rest of the world.

"I've had the privilege of playing cricket in my youth and then commentating alongside some of the game's legends, but becoming the face of such a fantastic effort is an unbelievable honour. It's thrilling to see these Legends of the Game, who have always provided such lovely moments of delight and pride, back on the field. The Legends League Cricket will undoubtedly provide a fantastic platform for the Legends and their dedicated admirers, such as myself, to reconnect "Amitabh Bachchan was also present.
