Amitabh Bachchan has been very busy. A contestant on KBC 14 recently met the actor, who has been hosting the game show for many years, and she read out a letter she wrote for him. The contestant, Jyotirmayee Mallick from Odisha, was shown in the hot seat in a promo video for an upcoming episode that Sony TV released on Tuesday. Amitabh claimed that by reading out her letter and sharing her praise for him, in which she referred to him as the "superstar of the century," she had made him "bhavuk".

Jyotirmayee Mallick, an assistant superintendent of the post office from Bhadrak, Odisha, read out her letter as she sat in front of Amitabh, who looked surprised but appreciative of her gesture. Sony TV wrote in the Instagram caption for the video, "Jyotirmayee Mallick ji ne apni lihi hui chhithi se Amitabh Bachchan ji

Respected Amitabh Bachchan ji, I don't know if we can ever be like you, but you have proven time and time again that you are one of us, the KBC 14 contestant said as she read out the letter written in Hindi. After thanking her for the letter and saying, "Bohut bhavuk kiya aapne humko (You have made be very emotional)," Amitabh was then seen folding his hands and saying, "You have made be very emotional." The way you pull the chair for us, wipe our tears with your own handkerchief, and greet the audience sometimes makes me think that a superstar like you can only come once in a century.

Amitabh frequently shares his thoughts on his blogs, and he recently talked about meeting a blind fan on the set of KBC 14. She was "challenged by sight but filled with the strength and maturity of God's grace," according to his description of her. He also talked about 'holding back his tears' as Avni spoke about herself and how she was a fan of the actor. He wrote in his blog, "Her clarity of thought, her fearless confidence, her capable ability to accept her condition, and to be able to express to any other, and her normalcy was astonishing." The actor had also written about having health issues that caused him to lose the ability to use a number of body parts.
