Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan is often active on social media and wishes celebs good luck for their work. They also keep on giving information about their health. At the same time, he revealed that he did not know for eight years that he was suffering from an illness like TB. Now they have come to know about it and some have said that they have no embarrassment to tell them about it.

He said he didn't mind telling people that he had been a TB patient. In fact, Amitabh told Dr. Harsh Vardhan on the occasion of the launch of NDTV's 'Health India'. He urged them to make people aware of regular checks so that the disease can be detected at the beginning.

Amitabh (76) has been associated with a number of health campaigns such as polio, hepatitis B, TB, and diabetes. He appealed to the people to get these diseases tested and treated.
