New Delhi: After renaming the Mughal Garden at Rashtrapati Bhavan, the opening ceremony was held on Sunday (January 29). The program was organized today before the opening of Amrit Udyan. President Draupadi Murmu attended the event and showcased the beauty of flowers and plants in the garden. The Mughal Garden, the largest garden of Rashtrapati Bhavan, has been renamed Amrit Udyan on Friday (January 28) evening.

According to the report, the Amrit Udyan of Rashtrapati Bhavan will be opened to the public from January 31. Common people can buy tickets online for a tour of the park. Amrit Udyan will be open to the general public till March 31. This time a special day has also been reserved for the disabled and women after naming Amrit Udyan. At the same time, after the renaming of the Mughal Garden of Rashtrapati Bhavan, politics also started on the name.

The BJP has justified the naming of Amrit Udyan. At the same time, opposition parties have targeted the BJP's policy of changing the name. The Rashtrapati Bhavan order to change the name on the evening of December 28 said that the Mughal Garden is being renamed as Amrit Udyan to mark 75 years of Independence. After which the signboard and written name in Rashtrapati Bhavan have been changed.
