Amroha: Five members of the same family were killed in the Ganga river at Ganga Dham Ghat in Up's Amroha District Gajraula police station area today. The deaths were confirmed by Amroha District's additional superintendent of Police Brijesh Kumar. At the same time, they also say that three people are still being treated and their situation remains alarming.

It may be noted that the Guddu living in Lohari Khadar village of Kotwali area Hasanpur Amroha District had arrived at the Ganga Dham Bridge Ghat today to conduct a mundan ceremony for his child. Where he was accompanied by his family members as well as the people of the village. A young man from his family drowned in the river Ganga, and other family members also drowned in the river in a bid to save him. After which the divers took out the 8 young men who drowned in the very difficult Ganga. Of these, 5 people have died.

He also says that the rest of the 3 people continue to be treated. In addition 2 more youths are discovered divers whose condition remains fragile too. After the incident was reported, the village, including the whole family, has been mourned and the joy of the Mundan Sanskar has turned into a bad time and the police administration is on the spot.
