New Delhi: A video of Union Home Minister Amit Shah is fast going viral on social media these days. In the video, it is being claimed that when a journalist asked Amit Shah questions related to floods, the Union minister remained silent on it. But, when we investigated the truth of this claim, something else came to light. On seeing this viral video of 14 seconds, it is seen that the same question of the journalist has been put in it twice. At the same time, as soon as the Union Minister turns his face to respond, the video goes off. One thing that is clear from this is that the video has been edited.

In the video, the journalist holds the mike of the V6 news channel in his hand. The full video is available on V6 News Telugu's YouTube channel, which was posted on 29 November 2020. In the caption, Amit Shah Face to Face Over Hyderabad Floods, GHMC Elections 2020 | Exclusive | V6 News is written. This is a full 3 minute 1 second video on the news channel. After 39 seconds in the video, the journalist asks Union Home Minister Amit Shah a question about the rain and floods. The journalist asks, "There was rain and floods here, but not a single penny came from the Centre. Are the leaders coming from Delhi to show their faces? He (KCR) is saying, what do you have to say?'' The edited video ends with the journalist's question, but in the actual video, Shah does not remain silent on this question, but answers.

Amit Shah says, "We have given the most money to Hyderabad. But, I would like to say that the houses of 7 lakh people were flooded. Where were Owaisi and KCR then? I didn't go to one's house, you didn't see it. When there was water in the house, our MPs, our workers, and our ministers were among the people.'' Amit Shah goes on to say- Why is the water full? The way encroachment was promoted at the behest of Owaisi. Because of this, there is water here. We want to assure the people of Hyderabad that if the municipal corporation comes to the BJP, all encroachments will be removed. Such a Hyderabad will be built which will never be in grip of flood and water. Hyderabad becomes an IT hub all over the world, will build such a modern city.

Opposition politicians shared fake videos:-

The video clip has also been shared by some leaders of opposition parties and political parties. These include senior Congress leader Ashok Basoya and Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Manish Jagan Agarwal. It is clear that without knowing the truth, these leaders made the edited video viral, so that misleading information spread among the public.
