New Delhi: Political discussion has arisen over the face of the BJP CM, who has been in power for more than two decades from the power of the national capital. The party is still assessing the disadvantages of whether he contested elections under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal in the assembly elections or as a CM candidate.
BJP national president Amit Shah will interact with the party's booth level workers at the Indira Gandhi Stadium on January 5 in connection with finalizing the strategy for the Delhi assembly elections. According to information received from sources, the face of BJP CM will also be announced on this day. However, Prakash Javadekar, who was appointed Union Minister and in-charge for Delhi Legislative Assembly, had given a statement that the party has not taken any decision in this regard.
But party sources say that there is such a large section in the party, which believes that if Arvind Kejriwal is to be given a tough fight, then only a face has to be exposed for this. The rumor started on the face of the CM in the party when Amit Shah himself challenged CM Arvind Kejriwal to argue with BJP MP Pravesh Verma in one of the two programs.
