Mumbai: An 80-year-old woman, who arrived at the Mumbai Marathon, is making headlines on social media. She has proved that age is nothing more than just a number. In fact, an 80-year-old elderly woman arrived at the Mumbai Marathon wearing a saree. The 18th edition of the Tata Mumbai Marathon was held on January 15. An 80-year-old woman was also among the participants in this marathon. The video of the woman running the Mumbai Marathon in a saree was uploaded by her granddaughter on social media. After the video was posted, it went viral. After watching the video, social media users are calling the woman their inspiration, while some are also surprised to see her courage.

The woman's granddaughter Dimple Mehta Fernandes posted the video on Instagram. She has told tha her grandmother had run a distance of 4.2 km in 51 minutes. She wrote in the caption of the video that ''inspired by the strong will and patience of my 80-year-old grandmother who participated in the Tata Marathon this Sunday.''
