Noida: There is still confusion over the death of All India Akhara Parishad President Mahant Narendra Giri. The suicide note seized from Mahanta's room mentions the name of his courtesy Anand Giri as well as Narendra Giri accusing Anand of threatening him in the note. This is not the first time that Anand Giri has been caught up in a fight but in many old cases when Anand Giri has been in the news for controversies.

He had arrived with his friends on June 13, 2020 at Brahmachari Kuti Ashram in Sector 82, Noida. Anand Giri had tried to occupy the ashram here. But when he failed to take possession, he left with his friends on June 16. Maharaj had also complained to Noida police, but the police neither registered any FIR nor took any action.

At the same time, Adishree Brahmachari Kuti ashram built in Sector 82 of Noida is several decades old. The 200-year-old ashram is said to be being looked after by Mahant Om Bharati ji Maharaj, who is currently in Prayagraj. Pintu Maharaj, a disciple of Om Bharati ji Maharaj, has alleged that Anand Giri wanted to occupy the Ashram in Noida. He had arrived with his friends at Anand Ashram on June 13, 2020. The men accompanying Anand Giri had snatched the phone of vijay bharati, the servant present in the ashram, and held Vijay Bharati captive and stayed in the ashram for about 4 days.
