Amravati: In Andhra Pradesh, the efforts are being done to curb the coronavirus. In this sequence, 9,996 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported on Thursday. The total number of infected people in the state has crossed the figure of 2.64 lakh.

The recently released government bulletin also states that "In the last 24 hours, there have been 82 more deaths due to coronavirus in the state". Apart from this, 9,499 patients have been cured in the bulletin and they have been discharged from various hospitals in the state. Apart from this, the total number of Covid-19 cases in the state has come to 2,64,142. So far 1,70,924 patients have recovered and gone home. About 2,378 patients have also died. So far 90,840 patients are being treated in various hospitals.

The bulletin issued said that the total number of investigations conducted so far in the state reached 27,05,459 and the rate of infection has been 9.76 percent. 1,504 new cases of Xovid-19 have been reported in East Godavari district and due to this, the number of infected in the district has reached 37,146. 10 more patients died. Now there are a total of 15,972 patients in the district who are undergoing treatment. In the past, Special Chief Secretary (Health) KS Jawahar Reddy has said that 'Dense population is responsible for the increasing number of cases of Covid-19 in East Godavari'.
