Ten thousand Health YSR Health Clinics will soon be opened in rural areas in Andhra Pradesh amid lockdown. The state government said that it is considering in this context. In a statement released on Friday, it said that in the state, it is considering an investment of 16,200 crores to correct the condition of hospitals and set up a medical college.

On Friday, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy held a review meeting of hospitals here and directed the officials to expedite the proposals to set up 10,000 YSR Health Clinics (sub-centers) in each village secretariat. A statement issued by the Chief Minister's Office said that to strengthen the public healthcare and health infrastructure, it is contemplating an investment of Rs 16,203 crore for improvement in the government hospitals and medical colleges of the state, while 10,000 YSR clinics soon Will be set up at the village level itself.

For your information, let us tell you that during the meeting, the Chief Minister has sought details from the authorities on the development of village clinics, primary health centers, community health centers, field hospitals and district-level hospitals. Explain that the existing sub-centers are being revived as YSR Health Clinics to control the spread of Kovid-19 and to provide better medical care at the village level round the clock.
