Vaibhav Raj Gupta's reputation has grown as a result of his work on „Gullak.“ Most people call him Annu Bhaiya than his on-screen alter ego Annu Mishra. In an interview, Vaibhav Raj Gupta stated that his career is unfazed. His grandfather loved art and was a brilliant craftsman from Sitapur in Uttar Pradesh.

Joined the theater at the behest of a friend. My first play was 'Agni Aur Barkha'. Vaibhav Raj has said, „When I came to Mumbai, I wanted to work in a call center. At that time, I was happy to think that I would sit in the AC. I'll be able to speak English, and I'll get paid well. But „Unfortunately, I was never chosen for any interviews I went to. The theater was also empty of cash. I also had an urgent need for money. Vaibhav Raj Gupta has added the following „I used to go by rail at those time. Later I noticed young boys handing out flyers for an organization. I conducted interviews with that Organisation and spoke to those lads, and I was chosen. It was the task I found most challenging.
