In this episode, the Shahs are joyful and jubilant. Toshu calls back and queries what transpired after becoming alarmed by the number of missed calls. When they tell him that Kinjal has delivered a girl, he becomes excited and announces to the man sitting next to him that he must leave. He lets everyone know he will be there. When Rakhi sees Kinjal, she is delighted. She inquiries about Toshu. Baa announces his arrival. She explains that he was meant to be with Kinjal and inquires as to his whereabouts. She learns from Baa that she was also tardy. She claims that she was preoccupied with something crucial. Even Toshu is busy, says Baa, and Vanraj informs her that Toshu travelled to Mumbai for an interview.

Anupama requests that Rakhi at least hold the infant when she becomes enraged. Rakhi sobs while holding her granddaughter. Rakhi thanks Anupama for being there for Kinjal while she was giving birth. Anupama claims to have been present as a different mother. Rakhi inquiries about Toshu's absence before departing. When Anuj notices the lamp turning on, he rushes over to it and falls from his wheelchair.

Help comes from Adhik, Ankush, and Barkha, and Ankush promises to stay until Anupama gets back. Anupama shares with Vanraj her suspicion that Rakhi is aware of something and suggests that Toshu may have turned down her job offer. Vanraj agrees and declares soldering to be improper. Anupama notices Rakhi agitated and questions as to what happened. Rakhi goes to tell something about Toshu but Pakhi takes her away saying Kinjal is calling her. Anupama wonders what did she wanted to tell.
