His famous films include Bandit Queen, Slumdog Millionaire, 'The Warrior,' 'Thread,' 'Shakti,' 'Halla Bol,' 'Raktacharit,' and 'Jai Ganga.' Anupam Shyam has also appeared in the serials 'Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya,' 'Krishna Chali London,' and 'Doli Armano Ki' where he was well received.
